- Jeanne Francesca 8/21/2009 19:34 never could play drums (the bass pedals) with 4" heels on, so learned to play bare-foot or in hose, stopped playing acoustic bass because I broke my long nails too much. Now that neither is a problem, I am trying to learn e-bass and practice my Yamahas every day. Sure miss my jazz days.

After all it ain't no harmonica ("Hohner") and in fact many folks saw Paul McCartney and his Hofner Bass on David Leterman just the other night. And speaking of late nite, I noted two of my old movie sound tracks this week as well.

I play Yamaha drums and acoustic bass, am now learning e-Bass. Have an Ibanez and a Lakland fretless. Yours looks like a Hohner, violin syle, is it?
